The terms that apply to your cleaning

Plain terms, so there are no surprises — when you request a cleaning from Markham Cleaning Co., this is what applies.

Quotes and pricing

Prices shown on this website are base rates for homes in normal condition. Your final quote is confirmed before anything is booked and may be adjusted for square footage, number of bathrooms, current condition, heavy buildup, excessive pet hair, clutter, specialty surfaces, and requested add-ons.

Add-ons and recurring discounts are applied to the confirmed service rate.

Booking deposit

A $50 booking deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The deposit is applied toward the total cleaning price, and the remaining balance is due after the cleaning is completed.

Rescheduling and cancellation

Deposits are refundable with at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations within 24 hours and no-shows may result in the deposit being forfeited. If Markham Cleaning Co. cancels, the deposit will be fully refunded.

24-Hour Satisfaction Guarantee

If something was missed, let us know within 24 hours of your cleaning and we'll return to make it right at no additional charge.

This guarantee applies to areas included in the original agreed-upon cleaning scope. It is not a refund guarantee and does not cover additional work that was not part of the original service.

Access to your home

You do not need to be home for service, provided we have a way to access the home and any necessary instructions. Please secure pets and let us know about anything the cleaning professional should be aware of before arrival.

Scope and condition

If a home requires more work than the requested service covers, we will contact you before proceeding rather than performing work that was not agreed to. In some cases the appropriate recommendation is Deep Cleaning rather than Standard Cleaning, and we will say so.

Payment

Payment is handled after the cleaning is completed, following the deposit applied at booking. Payment card information is processed securely by Stripe. Markham Cleaning Co. does not directly store or process your full payment card details.

SMS Terms

If you opt in, you may receive transactional text messages from Markham Cleaning Co. about your cleaning requests, appointments, deposits and payments, reminders, and service updates.

SMS consent is optional and is not required to purchase or receive cleaning services.
